Influent was founded to address the growing unmet market demand for miniature fans and pumps (aka fluid movers) that can provide higher performance in much smaller sizes and at significantly lower cost.  This market demand is shared by a diversity of products and applications including portable medical devices, micro fuel cells, HBLED lamps and electronics cooling for consumer, computing and military products.

Together these new products have pushed fluid mover requirements beyond the reach of 20th century fan and pump technologies. Influent’s products, powered by our transformational innovation, deliver on the demands of today’s markets and unleash an entirely new set of capabilities for over 80 applications in more than 15 vertical markets.

After its founding in 2005, Influent invested years in the development of its core technologies and innovations. The company is now developing enabling products derived from its core technologies and negotiating commercial agreements with key customers.  To date Influent has been financed through private capital.
